Re: Tampa corner to become free agent
How old is Brian Kelly?
Also, after getting a guy who flourished under a Cover 2 scheme last year (Jason David), and seeing how poorly he performed in our man-coverage schemes, I'd be extra hesitant signing a guy like Kelly. |

No thanks. We should pay the big bucks this go around. I would be disappointed if we didn't get at least Samuel and maybe Gay this off season. Big Mac probably won't be back for most of next season either.

no go for Kelly...great point made about Tampa 2 corners and our past history with that type of CB. Also, why the interest in Randall Gay? he is no better than Jason Craft and also he cant stay healthy. I am not at all a fan of Randall Gay. He and Kelly are both products of their systems and would not suit or defense well at all.

I hope MM is ready to go, but I still see Jason David starting next year. They are not just going to replace him, since they just got him last season. I think he will play better and get some help from the D-line. The middle of the D-line will be made better and that will help the secondary.

Re: Tampa corner to become free agent
Jason David sucks period...i dont care what yalll "think" he will do...bottom line is...even if he does do better...he still wont be good....we need a good CB...not someone who just trails WRs....we need someone who can manufacture 5-8 picks a year....which we havent had in recent years...jason david is small...cant defend the run and is horrible in man coverage....but the funny thing is...no matter how much we talk about him...he will most probably be getting owned in the opener of next year...sad thing huh?...but ill be damned if he is...
