Monster... one man team. When I watched him play I thought he was a bit thin and didn't know whether or not he could take the pounding in the NFL. Then I checked out his weight and he has prototypical body for a running back once he puts on 10 pounds of muscle... which is easy to do. But with such a deep deep class of running backs, I think he goes in the late second early third range. Another year back at UCF would have benefit his draft status a great deal... probably elevate him into the first. Bad decision to go pro imo... though he's definitely ready.

If it weren't for the deep class of running backs as I said earlier, I think Hester would have easily made it into the 3rd round... possibly even the second if it was last year. Hester can do everything Leonard could and he was drafted in the second. But because of all the junior guys coming out, Hester's value isn't where it should be. I think he goes in the 4th or 5th round now.
Hester has to come out he's a senior... Smith should have stayed back for his senior year smitty. He definitely would have been one of the best backs... more money and a higher slot easily. |
