How exactly did something so right go so wrong?

We begin a position-by-position breakdown of the Saints with a look at wide receivers and running backs, since Marques Colston, Lance Moore and Pierre Thomas are making a local stop today. Look for continuing coverage in the Sunday print and online editions of The News-Star:

Re: A look back on 2007

Sorrryyy duce is not worth a thing right now. he needs to prove something on the field first. This is his third knee operation not his second. Part of me thinks it maybe wise to draft RB on day one. Jonathan Stewart, RB, Oregon might be an option if we trade down in the first. I know what everyone will say. Yep I am kinda of nuts but he is an every down back that would allow Bush to be in he open spaces. Heck I would love to see Bush fill the #4 WR at times. Well more than he has.
WR I have never been sold on the group. Colston is a keeper. Mech is a ??? well we are going to find out in 2008. Patton is a great vet and will make a fine addition for a couple of more years but by no means should be our #2. The rest have had their shot and blew it. So who cares? keep or go. I don't. Third round looks good for a slot reciever.
Ok that should get my head cut off. LOL I just suggested the saints use picks 1 and 3 on offense.
