need help in the secondary. They need a playmaker who can turn defense into offense, and that player is Aqib Talib. But the Saints could also use a return man who can give the offense great field position, and that's Leodis McKelvin. It's a tough choice, but in the end, the pick will be McKelvin.

I like McKelvin at 10... I'd wait on a Mayo, Goff, or Connor should they fall to us in the second. McKelvin's one of my favorite prospects in this years' draft... to each his own.

Just say no to Talib, I am tired of seeing our corners having to chase down recievers. Jenkins or Mckelvin over Talib, he is a zone guy

BUT has everyone forgotten that these Mock Drafts are USELESS until free agency gets started. If we pick up Samuel and no one else then our TRUE NEED will be MLB or DT. If we get Samuel and Vilma we will need DT OR OLB. We can argue until everyone gets pissed off, but it does no good until 2 weeks AFTER the free agency period.

well, for one... there arent any MLBs available who are worth the 10th pick

two, we have a major need at corner.. Mike McKenzie probably wont be back before midseason due to his torn ACL in November or Dec., cant remember which, but generally takes a year to heal... Jason David, well.. we know that is turning out.. Fred Thomas, and Jason Craft are our top backups, one of which will be starting and neither should be...


three, if there was a decent rookie MLB... theres no guarentee that they would even make a decent impact, you have to realize, that whoever we get will be a ROOKIE!!! most rookies struggle. even as great as adrian peterson was last year, he still struggled in some games.. every rookie goes thru it.. the talent that is available at CB this year is tremendous.. most of the 1st round corners are over 6' and run sub 4.4 40s, and with that being said.. if we did draft one of the top corners, they will already be better then the healthy corners on our roster right now...


four, i really wanted trufant but since he was franchised ill settle for samuel and if we dont get him, then we are left with scrub CB free agents
