Re: YOUNG and SIMONEAU signed...
Bringing Young back was pretty much a need since there are no DTs available in free agency...and bringing Simoneau back is probably insurance incase Vilma gets hurt. I have no problem with him being a reserve, i am completely against having to rely on him to start for us at MLB.
And 12 million over 4 years is a very good deal for the Saints considering the money DTs are getting nowadays. |

Re: YOUNG and SIMONEAU signed...
Sim will start. Villma will spend time rehabing and getting a contract redone. We sat Mech for a year so why not Vilma? Besides the longer the rehab the better the knee and the lower the pick. I can suffer 8 or more games knowing he will be almost 100% when he gets on the field. Get the CB and S straightened out and we should be ok. Waite till the following year to get him on the field for 16 games.
Young is a seasoned Vet we all liked till injuries really hurt him last year. Glad to see him back in the fold. |

Re: YOUNG and SIMONEAU signed...
Do not risk the future for results today. If time is the only thing he needs to get back to the player he was, then give him the time. We are not lossing a thing. Long term results are key. Do not rush him back!
