Re: What's the word on DeWayne Robertson?
NFL Network's Adam Schefter doesn't believe DL Dewayne Robertson will be back with the Jets in 2008.
Schefter notes that the Jets tried to move him for a first-rounder, couldn't get it, then for second- and third-round picks, and couldn't get those either. Robertson's cap charge in 2008 is over $12 million. Dewayne Robertson |

I would love to be a fly on the wall at Airline Drive right now listening to the Saints plan to fix this defense. There are a lot of players available through trades but its not like we are gonna make 3 more trades to help solve our defensive issues.

I wish he was part of the villma deal, He would fit in nicely with young. He maybe a cap cut when all is said and done, then that 12 million cap hit would not be a issue,

Unless he restructures, we definitely need to wait and see if he becomes a cap cut, he is definitely not worth 12 this year, maybe 3yr 12 mil..lol

The Jets are holding onto him just for this reason. He's not going anywhere. Why would you trade draft picks and except a large cap hit at the same time. He will be a Jet.

Well, I've got my eyes on him. I wish he'd been part of the Vilma deal too. 12 mil is a crazy number though. I understand the reluctance to accept that contract. He's got to restructure, or face getting cut.
