Randall Gay visiting Friday; Devery visits Bucs
Randall Gay will visit the Saints Friday.
Gay is one of the better corners available, but still should only be seen as a role player. Gay grew up in Louisiana, so the Saints may have an edge in signing him. Source: Boston Globe I like Gay and all but I hope we don't overpay out of desperation. Devery Henderson will visit with the Bucs Friday. We'd tread very cautiously here if we were the Bucs. They desperately need some deep speed, but Henderson will drive Jon Gruden crazy. Source: FoxSports.com Clayton and Devery reunion? |

Man, I hate seeing our players go to other teams in our division, but Devery will piss Gruden off to no extent, so it may be worth it. He's not going to like having a WR who only catches around 60% of passes thrown to him.

If the Bucs end up picking up some of the Saints, things will get even more interesting around this House Divided. |

Let Faine to go TB. Ive said this before, but prior to his first season with us, Faine had a history of getting injured and it showed up again last year. I think 06 was his only completely injury free year. He is not worth the money they gave him.
Plus he doesnt block in the run game, not that it matters when we play the bucs though, theyll just throw it to galloway. |

Signing Gay would be a nice step in the right direction. Very solid backup/nickel type of player. As for Henderson, maybe a hard nose coach like Gruden is all that is needed for him to finally reach his potential.

I'd love to see Devery sign with the Bucs keeping him in the NFC South..
The dude simply can't catch balls Cutting Mare was a great move on the Saints part. |

I read a member on one of the local forums that stated they'd see Faine @ Lucy's every night before a game getting sloshed and then it was fun to watch him play hung over the next day. That was this year... So... I anticipate him showing his good side for the first season in Tampa, and then in 2009 they can expect the hangover center to show up. |
