Brian Simmons CUT !!!!
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't know what the issue with Simmons was, but he simply did not get playing time. In other words he could not beat out Shanle or Simoneau. Maybe some believe he wasn't given a fair chance, but who knows. ...

I don't know what the issue with Simmons was, but he simply did not get playing time. In other words he could not beat out Shanle or Simoneau. Maybe some believe he wasn't given a fair chance, but who knows. Simmons has been in the league for a long time and maybe his play has really fell off.
