this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Maybe their was a deal behind the scenes that if the Saints stop bidding on Samuel, that they would deal us Sheppard. That would make me feel better about losing Samuel....

Re: Lito Sheppard
That would make my offseason if we swung a trade for Sheppard. We could use Sheppard and Young/Gay on the other side until MM gets healthy.
By the way, any word on how he's doing? |

Re: Lito Sheppard
I would imagine that Sheppard's services will be demand. I've seen the Texans, Hawks & a few others are still in the market for CB help. Do we think its worth losing one or more draft picks for him? Given his relative young age and skills I'd give up some picks to land him.

Re: Lito Sheppard
For the past 3 seasons yes... but if he could be had for a 3rd or 4th rounder, he could be well worth the risk.

Re: Lito Sheppard
I agree P, give them our 3rd rounder and then draft Rivers (OLB) in the 1st and Moore or Laws (DT) in the 2nd. A guard in the 5th, a TE in the 6th and a QB in the 7th.
I know I was complaining yesterday but I apologize and it won't happen again, NOT! |
