Re: Troupe to visit Saints
He could be very good here with a real quarterback throwing him the ball.

Re: Troupe to visit Saints
Keep bringing in the Gators!!!
Troupe had Great hands at the collegiate level, would give Brees a "gates" kinda tight end (not saying he's as good as gates, but with colston and bush taking up most of the coverage, he's a TE that can exploit the weaknesses in the D). |

Re: Troupe to visit Saints
according to PFT Alge Crumpler has signed with the Titans. This move improves the likelyhood that we could get him. Drew is known for falling in love with athletic TE's. See Antonio Gates

Re: Troupe to visit Saints
here is a little info on ben
Comment: Troupe is a four-year veteran out of Florida that was drafted by the Titans in the second round of the 2004 draft. He has good size for the position and is a good athlete. He is a smooth, easy mover that can get into and out of his breaks with body control and agility. He has enough of a burst to separate from defenders as he comes out of his cuts but lacks the top downfield speed to sustain his separation. He has a tendency to be a little late off the ball which gives the linebackers the advantage when they want to try and press him at the line. He is not explosive across the line of scrimmage and is not a real strong blocker in spite of his size. At times it looks like he is indecisive both as a blocker as well as when running routes against zone coverage. He has been an underachiever and has struggled to make it through a whole season without some kind of nagging injury. He could use more intensity in his play, especially as a blocker.
