Damn I was waiting to bring up our new DE in the post only to have NFLnetwork beat me to my happiness about the signing. He is right about Grant moving inside on passing down. I love the move. Gay is added depth and understands winning. Both are solid moves.

"Those ends make those defensive backs better." Hmmm, wasn't it me, and someone else who said this same thing? But someone didn't agree. Hmmm, who was that again? I can't remember. : )
Good vid. Exactly what I thought of, when I saw the signing. Tuck coming in as a DT, really through NE for a loop. Now we have the personell to do the exact same thing. Remember when we had Joe Johnson, and Willie Whitehead, and Darren Howard, is rookie year? Anyway, Whitehead was a DE, but we brought him in at DT, and if my memory serves, Willie used to get alot of pressure up the middle, with Howard, and Johnson playing QB sandwich. Heh heh heh.... Howard Johnson. Young and Gay. Are they planning this? |
