Many are upset about not being able to land the best FA's including me. But i have come to realize that until we win on a regular basis and make the playoffs more often,the Samuels and Briggs of the FA world will not sign with the Saints. You can throw all the money in the world at them,it won't matter. If you were Asante Samuel would you sign with the saints after coming from a super bowl team who wins on a regular basis. Its like going from a Rolls to a YUGO.At least now we are starting to see some really top players trickle in. Hopefully this will continue.

Who says they're "the best"? Their agents?? Just bc they cost more doesn't make them the best. I'd be willing to bet you a dollar that Samuel has the worst 3 year stretch in his career coming up.

Guess signing Nate Clemens should've put the Niners in the bowl last year, huh?

It's all about putting the RIGHT players on the same team. Chemistry. It's a lot like gumbo... many different ingredients to make the best pot. Not every team can make a roux.
