Re: Robertson to the Bengals
This just increases the chances that either Dorcy or Ellis will fall to #10.

Re: Robertson to the Bengals
I'm pretty sure you have an idea who he's talking about.
As for Robertson, it's not quite done yet... an extension has to be reached first. Shouldn't be a problem though... I'm sure they were confident in getting it done if they were willing to trade for him in the first place. |

Re: Robertson to the Bengals
The trade value chart says they used 97 points on that - which is nearly the value of our 4th rounder this year. Dammit. I keep suspecting, if we'd thrown in the 4th rounder with the Vilma deal, that we'd have Dewayne Robertson on our roster right now.

Re: Robertson to the Bengals
Robertson would have been a nice addition, but wheelman makes a nice point. With Cincy locking up a DT in free agency, are they really going to use the 9th pick to select another DT? Maybe they will considering Robert Geathers and Domata Peko are complete trash, but I think this does increase the livelihood of Ellis or Dorsey falling to us at 10. However, that being said, I would be surprised if Dorsey lasts past #4.

Re: Robertson to the Bengals
i really dont understand this deal for cincy... they have been contemplating a switch to the 3-4 and robertson has been a disappointment in that scheme in NY

Re: Robertson to the Bengals
Well, I guess they're sticking to the 4-3. If not, perhaps they're considering packaging him in a deal - to us?? Doubt it. They must be sticking with a 4-3.
