What would you do? Mock Draft
1 Atlanta Falcons Chris Long, DE Virginia
Miami trades out of one with Atlanta. Long goes opposite of Anderson and Abraham is kicked to the curb. Cost #3 a second and a 3rd in 2009 2 St. Louis Rams - Glenn Dorsey, DT LSU Forget about Haz and his 34 switch. Adam Carriker moves out to DE and Wroten and Dorsey are united to anchor the DL. 3 Miami Dolphins *Vernon Gholston, DE Ohio St. Bill gets his 34 DE and additional picks after all. 4 Oakland Raiders Jake Long, OT Michigan Wise man says protect Russell 5 Kansas City Chiefs *Darren McFadden, RB Arkansas LJ is 28 and Kolby is in his second year Darren makes to much sense. 6 New York Jets Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, CB Tennessee St. The Jets have trade for the DL and now go after a CB. 7 New England Patriots (from SF) Keith Rivers, OLB, USC LB is area of need 8 Baltimore Ravens Leodis McKelvin, CB, Troy State CB is a big area of need just like QB 9 Cincinnati Bengals Sedrick Ellis, DT USC Bengals boost their DL 10. New Orleans Saints What do you do and who would you do it with and why? |

Re: What would you do? Mock Draft
I think you could trade down with the Cowboys as well. Word is that Jerry Jones likes Mindenhall as well. Then you have 3 picks in the late 1st and early 2nd. Aqib Talib (CB), Josh Barrett (FS), Tom Zbikowski (FS), Dajuan Wagner (FS), Dre Moore (DT) , & Trevor Laws (DT) should all be there at those spots. A couple may go earlier, but that still gives us contributors at each of our 3 biggest needs. Then we can pick up Ray Rice (RB) or Kevin Smith (RB) in the 3rd & actually have a RB who can run between the tackles other than Pierre Thomas. These two guys can also take it to the house after breaking tackles at the line of scrimmage.

Re: What would you do? Mock Draft
Better yet Hagan. what do you do if Ellis, Rivers, and Croamartie are available at 10. Me, as much as I hate picking a corner in the first, I have to go with Cromartie, he should be a beast.

Re: What would you do? Mock Draft
If we're playing by your scenario Hagan, I'll go with Ryan Clady. Why? It would solidify our OL for the next 10 years.
My other options right there would be Mike Jenkins and Quentin Groves. Jenkins makes sense because we need help in the secondary and Groves would immediately upgrade our pass rush. |
