Team Needs
Hi everyone,
We’re currently trying to compile our Team Needs section over at NFLRoughDraft.com. It’s our opinion that the best place to compile in-depth information on the Saints is the home of their die-hard fans. If you guys could post a couple of thoughts on your team’s biggest draft needs, we would appreciate it. We can also be reached at NFLRoughDraft@gmail.com. Thank you for your time! |

Re: Team Needs
Also, if anyone has any thoughts on what the team plans on doing with all of their defensive ends, we'd like to hear the scoop on that as well.

Re: Team Needs
CB-this is one of the most glaring needs. even though they picked up randell gay and usuma young is a promising talent. the position lacks a playmaker and difference maker in that unit.
S- they already have two solid starters at both FS and SS. josh bullock is good in run support but he has feet for hands and often out of place in pass defense. harper is also good in run support but lacks the speed to keep up with the elite TEs in the league. he makes up for that with intelligence. but this unit also needs a playmaker FS is preferred. DT-this unit is solid but lacks a great pass rusher. with the addition of McCray, grant will most likely move inside on 3rd and longs and other obvious passing downs. you can't double team all of them. TE- billy miller is solid but this unit needs a TE that can block and stretch the field. C-this unit just lacks depth LB- this unit has became solid with the addition of vilma and morgan but morgan has durability issues. a young playmaking WLB is needed. |

tiggerpolice nice job
CB/S Type of player that is a ball hawk. Kill two birds with one stone. DT- youth is needed. TE- youth needed again C/G- this position just lacks depth LB - young playmaking WLB is needed. There very few of them out there but again another tweener S/LB for third and longs. WR - Slot needs to be addressed. Drew needs tall WR so at least 6 footers only. QB - need another project to work on as a #2. Palko? maybe ok but sean is the only one that knows if thats the case and he does not say much about it. There is no isssue at DE right now. We will see what happens when Smith signs and the season plays out. Who knows one could be trade bait in the draft. never know. |

Re: Team Needs
1st: DRC
2nd: Dre Moore or THE SHOCKER of the draft TE Fred Davis 3rd: Thomas DeCoud or Marcus Howard 5th: Ali Highsmith or Chevis Jackson 6th: DJ Hall, Mario Manningham, or Adrian Arrington 7th: Vince Hall or Sam Keller ( he seems like a guy Payton would like ) Lol I probably won't get any of those right but I could see it going something like that.. |
