Because the passing attack wasn't the major problem from this team last year. Look at some of the ones re-signed: Johnson, Miller, Copper, Patten, and "Teflon Hands" Henderson. Brees is a QB that spreads the ball around as we all know. Getting the guys back that he is comfortable with helps with the continuity of the offense. If some of these guys don't work out this season, it is a safe bet the team will go a different route next year. Let's just how this unfolds before we knock it. |
