this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Would he be too expensive? I'm sure he wants to start, but if he's unsigned late in the game maybe we could get him in for a 1 year deal? I know he's injured too, but he would be nice ...

Culpepper?
Would he be too expensive? I'm sure he wants to start, but if he's unsigned late in the game maybe we could get him in for a 1 year deal? I know he's injured too, but he would be nice behind Brees IMO.

I say wait another month and then offer him a 1 year deal to be the backup. He says he's getting back to 100 % and Dante was always a runner and an arm like a cannon. He is a definite upgrade over Martin 110% upgrade
