Kevin Jones in Black and Gold
The Lions released RB Kevin Jones and depending on what happens with Deuce I think he'd be a great fit for our offense if we got him at the right price. He is very fragile but when he's healthy he's a complete every down back. I picked him up in fantasy last year when he came back from his injury and he was very productive. He came back in great shape and was able to regain most of his agiltiy and all of his speed. Our team already has way too many ifs as it is but if this guy could stay healthy he would be a beast in our offense. He's good between the tackles, he's great when he get's outside, he has good hands for a RB, and unlike Reggie he hits the hole hard and fast when it's open. As much as I love Deuce I think it would be smart to replace him with a younger, faster, and cheaper Kevin Jones.

Re: Kevin Jones in Black and Gold
Kevin Jones is a complete back & I'd love to have him (at the right price). My only concern with him is durability. Oh yeah...he's way better than Stecker, guys.

Re: Kevin Jones in Black and Gold
All due respect to Mr Stecker, he is no Kevin Jones. He might be more tenacious and less injury prone but I'd rather have Jones. If Jones were to sign for Stecker money but it meant dropping Steck, I'd say do it in a heartbeat. By the way, how is Jones a Stecker like player? Steck has always been a great special teams guy and decent third down back. When Jones is on the field he is an every down back with a ton of talent. But no, he doesn't have half the heart that Stecker has and I'll admit that counts alot.

Well said, get a big, strong young RB with no injury history.

Re: Kevin Jones in Black and Gold
... call me crazy, but I don't see how "complete every down back" and "very fragile" go together..
