Carucci Mock Draft 2.0
Mock draft 2.0: Raiders happy to take McFadden at No. 4
10. New Orleans Saints Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB, Tennessee St. Rodgers-Cromartie's monster performance at the combine has caused his draft stock to soar, and the Saints just might be willing to take a little bit of a gamble on this small-college prospect. It also doesn't hurt that he is a cousin to one of the best corners in the NFL, Antonio Cromartie. Previous mock pick: Keith Rivers |

Re: Carucci Mock Draft 2.0
i don't see the saints taking him with their first pick....i really see the saints being happy with mckenzie at 1, gay at 2, and david at 3 with the rest of the dbs fighting it out for playing time.
i would say they will take the best player available...cromartie would be a reach at 10 |

Re: Carucci Mock Draft 2.0
I'm saying Keith Rivers 1st round, Tracy Porter 2nd round.

Re: Carucci Mock Draft 2.0
I would be thrilled to get DRC!!!
Three reasons.......McKenzie coming off an injury and getting a lil' long in the tooth, Gay is a good nickel corner, probably not a starter, JD sucks is the third and most important reason. |

fire,
i actually agree with you completely, but my gut feeling is that coach will be ok with the dbs we have and will go another direction. |

Unfortunately J, I agree with you also, I think its gonna be either Mendenhall or Clady, or trade down (which would be fine).

I may be leaning towards Clady over Mendenhall at this point. Maybe the coaching staff wants to move Brown back to RT and end the Stinchcomb experiment? |

Re: Carucci Mock Draft 2.0
If I had to rank those Three situations, it would be1) trade down and get an extra 2nd rd pick, 2) Draft Clady, 3) Draft Mendenhall
this may surprise but with the lower 1st rd pick, I would take Tracy Porter-cb-I dont think he is gonna make it out of the first, he is now my fourth ranked corner 1)DRC-Beast 2)McKelvin-good but work on hands 3)Jenkins- s/b a solid starter 4)Porter-underrated 5)Flowers-overrated by Mayock 6)Talib-probably a S at the next level. |
