Re: Cromartie?
You can't RATE anyone who hasn't played..
THE WHOLE LEVEL OF COMPETITION thing is TOTAL BS! We do better drafting the freaks of smaller schools than drafting kids from big time schools to begin with.. How is he overrated when he did compete against the best and blew them all out of the water..? Please explain? I'm actually beginning to respect the smaller schools players.. This kid has even Deion Sanders raving about his feet work. He's not just a kid with freakish ability. he actually has excellent feet work to go along with tremendous size.. The dude blocked 8 kicks in college.. regardless of what competition you play against that's insane. |

No one is marketing this kid, but his play. Get real. You want to talk about "all hype".. then talk about Matt Ryan who is benefitting from a WEAK ASS qb class.. |

... anyway, I never said anything about Ryan, and I really don't want to talk about him... .. I did make the mistake on commenting on your man-crush. My bad. I won't do it again.. |

Re: Cromartie?
Randy Moss at Marshall must of played some seriously elite competition... right? No. But he had freakish ability along with tremendous size = 1st round draft pick.. Cromartie-Rodgers is no different.

Re: Cromartie?
This kid isn't overrated. In my eyes he's our 3rd best option behind Ellis and McKelvin.
Everyone is so concerned about the Saints past draft miscues. The comparisons are unwarranted. The guys we have making decisions now aren't the same as the ones responsible for our past debacles (and that's putting it mildly). Might they make some new mistakes? Sure, but I have confidence in their abilities to evaluate talent, character and desire. |

Re: Cromartie?
There was a reason Moss played at Marshall.
Yeah and the reason DRC went to Tenn State is because he didn't even play organized football until his SENIOR season in HS. His family was in the military and he went to 4 different high schools all 4 years.. |
