i like the first comment after the article "Posted by kamar on 03/25/08 at 2:37PM I'm excited about the upcoming season too, but then isn't everyone this time of year? I think it's long past due for the Saints to field a competitive team in all three aspects of the game. No more paper tigers. Go out there and man up. Don't wait until the 5th game of the year to fix what's broken. If he can't catch, bench him. If he can't cover, bench him. If he can't block, tackle or kick the ball through the uprights, bench him. I would rather see some guy off the waiver wire give 100% and fail than see some so-called superstar thinking he gets paid just to suit up. Good luck Saints!" |
