A closet Saints fan named Bill Gates swoops in and offers to buy the Saints from Benson and signs a 100 year contract with the state of Louisianna . Too personally guarantee a Super Bowl in New Orleans , he put together the most competent football staff in Saints history , including upper management . He plans to attend games so he moves one of his centers of operation to New Orleans , which brings a fortune 500 corporation to the big easy . This stimulates the economy , and additional corporations move into the area . The state of Louisianna has such an economic boom , it decides to help in the Gates sport center , a mega plex for sporting events .This huge mega plex draws the attention of both the baseball league and hockey league , who rush to get teams into the city of New Orleans .The Saints win the Super Bowl in the new mega plex , with home field advantage . Saints 49 Dolphins 13 Eli Manning sets a Super Bowl passing record during the game .
