I rather contend this year then worry about next year's draft. There are still plenty of holes and depth issues on our team this year that need to be addressed. Waiting next year will only lengthen our chances in getting into a Superbowl. We're not in the league of the Pats and Colts... winning organizations that could afford to do something like this.

I also want to say just as easy as it is to be ranked on any kind of top prospect list for next year, it's just as easy to fall out of it. Some good examples from last year's list without looking it up are Ali Highsmith, Early Doucet, and Lawrence Jackson, Antoine Cason ... I'm sure there are plenty others.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.

All little common sense goes a long way.

Good post, and I completely agree on both points. I honestly believe that depending on who we get, there's a chance it would help push us over the top and get to the promised land.
