What was said was I was on the fence on some of my reasonings and some have convienced me that NO is the correct answer. Farve isn't even a mentor type and he said so.

A 12 million dollar backup? Sure... Seriously, even if he still wants to play, why would he accept a backup job? But not counting money, yes I would take him in a heartbeat to be the backup QB. Factor in the money and the answer is no.

Favre made a comment to the media after Rodgers was the Packers first round pick that Favre was in Green Bay to be the starting QB and not to serve as a mentor to Rodgers.
