SportsTicker Staff Writer Craig Rondinone has ranked the top 45 fantasy RBs for this year. His top ten are listed below. The site is at http://www.sports.espn.go.com./sport...ageId=19918820

1. Priest Holmes
2. Clinton Portis
3. LaDanian Tomlinson
4. Marshall Faulk
5. Ricky Williams
6. Shaun Alexander
7. Deuce McAllister
8. Travis Henry
9. Edgerin James
10. Tiki Barber

After only one season as a starting full time running back it is quite impressive for Deuce to be listed as a top ten back. He probably would have been ranked higher had his receiving numbers and ability to block (pick up the blitz) been better last year. If he stays healthy this year, his numbers will improve overall and so will his ability to pick up the blitz. He will be viewed as a better all purpose back and not as one dimensional. He will rank even higher next year. THE DEUCE IS LOOSE!

In all fairness I think he should have been ranked above Portis, Alexander and Falk based upon last years numbers.
Of course being prejudice I wouldd also have ranked him above Williams also.

Yeah, but Fantasy rankings and not just based on last years numbers.

Then why are you commenting on how you think a fantasy list should be rated?

Michael Fabiano\'s (CBS Sportsline) Fantasy Football rankings:

1. Ricky Williams, Miami
2. LaDainian Tomlinson, San Diego
3. Priest Holmes, Kansas City
4. Marshall Faulk, St. Louis
5. Clinton Portis, Denver
6. Deuce McAllister, New Orleans
7. Travis Henry, Buffalo
8. Shaun Alexander, Seattle
9. Ahman Green, Green Bay
10. Stephen Davis, Carolina

By the way: A RB doesn\'t get fantasy points for good blocking, does he?
