shockey to saints trade stalls.. Update on Pg 11

Just read that the Falcons are in the running for Shockey, and they have a lot more ammo if they were inclined to get him. Man, it would really suck if they got both Shockey and ended up with Dorsey, 2 players I like to see in B&G.

Anyways...Looks like the NYPost is on the Giant payroll trying to drive up value for Shockey, cause...

Seahawks deny interest in Shockey
Could Jeremy Shockey be the answer to the Seahawks' need for a tight end? No, the club said Wednesday, after the New York Daily News reported that the Seahawks are among the teams interesting in trading for the Giants' disgruntled tight end. The Seahawks quickly dismissed the report, saying they have no serious interest in the four-time Pro Bowler, who sat out the Giants' run to the Super Bowl after breaking his leg in Week 15 of the regular season. The Seahawks plan to address the tight end position in the NFL draft this weekend. -- Seattle P-I

So that leaves the Falcons as the most serious threat to landing Shockey and with all those picks, it's a possibility except for the fact that Shockster wants to play for a contender, NOW, and play for his ol' ball coach that gave him his best production...
