Re: Are DE W. Smith and C. Grant worth the Salary Cap R
I said neither.
However, I'm very optimistic about this season. Ed Orgeron likes light, fast, agile linemen. I expect him to put them on a diet. In my estimation, excessive weight is all that has been holding Grant and Smith back. |

Give Smith and Grant a little help up the middle and they can be a force.

If by some miracle this guy does fall that far we should have some nice trade offers to move down. Do you trade the pick and move down or take VG and trade W. Smith and move down?

Re: Are DE W. Smith and C. Grant worth the Salary Cap R
Seen the comments on Gholston and, well, consider this...
Chiefs would make a great partner for the Saints to trade up to grab Vernon Gholston (if they so desired)... The Chiefs probably don't like what they have at five... And they would like to protect their dollars invested in Larry Johnson... And so could they could pick their long desired replacement for Willie Roaf, a solid O Lineman at Pick 10 without paying Top 5 money... Also like the comment by Papz regarding nothing wrong with abundance of talent... The Bears created a 46 Defense and went to a Superbowl, so have enough talent to create mismatches (and havoc) and you have yourself a solution to your Defensive Woes... |

These guys are quality but have had nothing playing with them on defense. I think the addition of all of the FA talent and by trading up for Dorsey/Ellis will make a huge difference. As for that pick falling to us, Cinny will take him right before us. |
