TO is no Jerry Rice but he’s not overrated. Just remember in the Super Bowl when the Eagles played the Patriots, TO was HURT and was 1) still better than any receiver on either team and 2) if Philly would have kept going to him they’ve would have won that game because the Pats could not contain him. Jerry Rice NO but TO should not be denied. But since judging him on is attitude it seems as if that Super Bowl was over looked

While everyone wanted to make Owens to be Jack Youngblood, Owens had 7 weeks to heal a hairline fracture before the SB. That's plenty of time to heal. …and speaking of Favre, he is overrated and over-hyped. There are 3 active NFL QBs who are better at playing the position… they just don’t play for the Packers and make John Madden foam at the mouth with desire. |
