would a double trade work?
i was thinking about some of the possiblities i haven't heard kicked around and wanted to see what the peanut gallery thought
would the following be feasable? economical? conceivable? saints trade #10 pick to eagles for Lito and the eagles #19 then... trade the #19 and #40 to another team in the top 10 to pick up sed ellis if it was workable that would give us a proven playmaker in our secondary and a top tier DT - exactly what we were looking for in the draft anyway -the hobo |

Re: would a double trade work?
the only way it would work is if they traded for lito before the draft and i dont see the eagles trading Lito until draft day, when some team is sitting there and thinking that they cant get value for their pick and then trade it for lito at that time...

Sure why not. Lito trade comes with a second round value to 19. Then trade to the NYG 31 for shockey. That too is a round two value.
I could live with it. Then Trade and/or pick to get Dan Connor, ILB/OLB, Penn State if he is there. Dan can play all three linebacker positions in the 43. Trading out of the first because of the cap hit these two trades would cause would make sense. |
