Re: LOL....(latest on lito)
Sheppard has 17 career interceptions, including three returned for touchdowns. The Eagles' asking price for Sheppard could be a player -- possibly a top wide receiver -- or draft picks. The Falcons got second-round and fifth-round picks for DeAngelo Hall, a two-time Pro Bowl cornerback who is two years younger than Sheppard.
would you do a 2nd and 5th for lito? |

Re: LOL....(latest on lito)
Question is...
if we acquire Lito (Oh No, Not Again) Sheppard, what happens to McKenzie? Please, Injury Status Update on one Mike McKenzie...How's the knee? How does he feel about the knee? Is he in a better place emotionally? Did the massive hair unintentionally cause undue torque on the lower part of his body? If he's running at full speed toward at WR at the same speed, will he hear the sound of a tree fall? I guess we won't get an injury status update until after the draft?!? Cartwright, Four! |

maybe i'm missing something here jean, but i don't see where you are going with the "what happens to McKenzie" bit. It just makes lito and mckenzie a great one-two punch?

Re: LOL....(latest on lito)
well i'm not a big money situation follower, but aren't we pretty well under the cap? and if we end up trading down that would help out as well. thanks for clearing that up, i seriously didn't know what you meant.

Re: LOL....(latest on lito)
Lito's contract runs through 2011 and he already wants to restructure it?!?
This reeks of Terrell Owens like behavior. I say pass. Keep our pick, draft Rivers in the first and hope Brandon Flowers is there in the second. Take a DT in the third and then whatever. All of this is better than a 27 yr old cornerback with injury problems that hasn't been a pro bowler since 2004 and is unhappy with his contract. PASS! |
