this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; who would you rather have if in the second round we could either draft keller or trade that pick for shockey?...

I agree. he would cum a lot cheaper and that is money we can use on our free agents who have earned it like colston!

I agree but I keep seeing that we are interested in both big time. I hope we continue to upgrade our D as top priority. that in its self will improve our O!

Shockey of the two. Proven playmaker, more blocking ability. Other teams will account for him starting day one as another matchup weapon on our offense. I think our finances are fine to pull it off. Keller may be limited to a one dimensional player early in his career - Shockey is there especially with the potential to run a 2TE set with Miller or Campbell.
