I've heard San Diego possibly. In all the reports on this the Saints have never been mentioned.

How about the article that was linked in this very thread. It says:

The one obvious obstacle standing in the way is a tenant for the new stadium. Possibilities might include the New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings and San Diego Chargers because of their stadium uncertainties.

That doesn't amount to much, but the Saints are an obvious target. Don't ignore the possibility. Hopefully, the team is not the preferred choice.

I also strongly agree that a city that at one time had two franchises and watched both leave clearly cannot support one and further doesn't deserve one.

When is the Saints' deal with the state up?
Personally, with all of the blue tarps on roofs still out there, I don't think Louisiana should be sending an owner of a a sports team money, but that's another matter all together.

Anyway, as someone else posted, we are not on the short list, and we have heard this all before.
