yeah - which means he\'ll be back just in time to play the Saints. Great!

It certainly makes things harder on the Falcons, but let\'s remember that he will probably only miss 4 or so regular season games. If he can come back after that they still have a very real chance of making the playoffs, especially if the falcons can pick up wins in their first four or five games - Dallas, Washington, Tampa, Carolina, Minnesota... they COULD be 2-3 or even 3-2 at that point and if Vick comes back and has to go 7-4 to make the playoffs it is very possible. It\'s a LONG season guys, don\'t forget....

Even when Vick comes back he will not be the same player, at least not for the rest of this season. McNab had a simular injury last season and he missed 2-months.

The Falcons offensive line is not that good and Vicks running ability masked a lot of their problems. Without Vick the Falcons are in trouble.

It is a little disappointing to see so many folks here relishing in Vicks injury. Not so much in this post but on the board in general. I\'ll admit when I first heard he was hurt I had a little sigh of relief myself but that was quickly turned to nervousness about the saints suffering the same fate.

I just hope celebrating an opponents mis-fortune does not jinx our star player. An injury to Deuce and we are dead!!!

i am not happy that vick got hurt and i don\'t think anyone else here is either

i think it\'s more of an \'i told you so\' reaction, everyone here with the exception of \'dat was expecting this to happen, maybe not so soon but it was expected, you can\'t play that style of game in the nfl, it does not work, he had too many close calls last year

the media played him up to be superman, but he\'s not, i would be surprised to see him return as the same run happy guy he was before and if he does it will only be a matter of time before it happens again

for crying out loud he\'s on the cover of madden he was doomed before pre-season began :P
