the more i think about it....the more i think rivers will go to the patriots or a team that wants him and trades to 7....even tho he would be a safe pickup...i dont think its realistic...most of the top 9 teams could use a linebacker.....however.....running back is not a major issue for ne of the top 9 teams....granted most mocks have him going to the raiders....i think the raiders will use their pick on another need

it's not possible to know who is going to be the best player available, that has been proven since the beginning. Tom Brady, Colston, etc. etc. I wish the team would just stick with their needs, eventually it's going to be filled with a good kid.

Re: loomis on nfl total access.......just states.....
Your draft needs to be a combination of drafting for need and drafting BPA. Drafting for need often forces your hand to reach for a player and subsequently pay a player that you could have gotten later in the draft and for less money and also pick up additional picks. Drafting on BPA alone results in players that do not get the snaps needed to maximize their value and results in too much money invested in one position. You draft for need with the idea in mind that some players if they drop and are BPA are too good to pass up (Reggie Bush, Will Smith, Deuce McAllister). You can not justify that if a team has one glaring need at TE and are in the top 15 that they select the best TE in the draft when they good and well could have him in the 2nd round.
