this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; after seeing what all the teams thought of the WRs in this years draft, last years pick makes a bit more sense. no one could predict his knee injuries, but had we not picked meachem last year, we wouldve really ...

a look back at the meachem pick.
after seeing what all the teams thought of the WRs in this years draft, last years pick makes a bit more sense. no one could predict his knee injuries, but had we not picked meachem last year, we wouldve really had to look at drafting a WR this year. it seems, none of the WRs this year were looked at as a big time playmaker worthy of an early pick. maybe its just me, but the meachem pick is looking a lot better as of today.
