Why stop at Carter?
Ki-Jana Carter is a great addition to the Saints running game but the way I look at it why stop with him. There are numberous other stud running backs waiting to be claimed by our favorite team. Just a few names to consider............Curtis Enis, Eric Bienemy, Vaughn Dunbar, Lawrence phillips.....................OH wait....these aren't stud running backs......these are all first round busts..... Sorry for the mistake
Seriously though, Carter may be able to contribute in some way but I'm sure the saints will end up bringing in another back as soon as mandatory cuts take place........... Until then.......Enjoy New Orleans Ki-Jana |

Why stop at Carter?
You are so right about first round busts. Carter will not be a factor except maybe in pre-season. If you need a vet, isn\'t Rickey Watters available?

Why stop at Carter?
Before you guys start writing Carter off...
Who would have thought that the Saints could pull a guy off of a beer truck that never played any college ball and would go on to set an NFL record for kick-off returns. Or, the Rams would pull a guy out of a grocery store and he would lead them to a Supebowl. He might be a bust with the Saints also, but he could be the next feel good story. Why are most people on this board so negitive? |

Why stop at Carter?
Hey Billy, I wish Carter the best....
but its kinda hard to compare michael Lewis and ki-jana Carter........Carter started from the top and fell quickly......he has been given numberous opportunities to reedeem himself, but has not done so... Lewis on the other hand started from nowhere and made the best of every little oportunity he was given. I realize carter has not been able to show off his talents due to injuries but that\'s part of football..If he was gonna be a force in the league he would have done it by now. I hope he proves me wrong though. It wouldn\'t be the first time I\'ve been wrong. oh yeah you forgot to mention Tommy Maddox as one of your feel good stories. |
