this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I wonder if the Saints had their eyes on Ainge as a future backup....the Jets moved up ahead of them for him....

Another good pick Carl Nicks only gave up 1 sack the last 2 seasons...The FO actually looks like they know what ther are doing this year.

Great value pick. Thought Nicks wouldn't last past the 3rd, and we get him in the 5th. I love having a good, deep offensive line. Now, if Erin Henderson is still there in the 6th, and the Saints select him, I will be a happy man.

I like the Kicker out of Georgia Jonathan Cantou not sure if I spelled it right but I dont feel comfortable with Gramatica

those are the only two i could handle
while most kickers are a dime a dozen, the saints had mehlhaff in to work him out......and though they may try to get him as a free agent, this guy has some pretty good stats............i would not mind him with the last pick....

Well I got the position a PK but I'm very happy with this I dont think I could go the whole year with Gramatica.

Its Brandon Coutu, he is the best PK on the board. But we picked some other no name guy
