Jolonn Dunbar, MLB, BC (second coming of sam mills)
Saints sign Jolonn Dunbar (MLB, Boston College)...
According to a other Saints MB and this BC Site... "The New Orleans Saints have agreed to terms with Boston College linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar (6-foot-1, 231)." "According to KFFL, the Saints have signed Jolonn Dunbar. I don't know why this wasn't more well known, as every single list of UDFA signings I have seen does not have him listed." http://www.saintsrevolution.com/foru...howtopic=17561 Couple Beers, No Beers Profile: NFL Draft Countdown From NFL: NFL Events: Draft Player Profiles - Jo-Lonn Dunbar |

Championship!

Re: Saints sign Jolonn Dunbar (MLB, Boston College)
I think when the draft was over he was the top LB left on kiper's board or at least in the top five, ok, this is the last time I will mention Kiper until next draft.

Re: Saints sign Jolonn Dunbar (MLB, Boston College)
This kid's a good player. Going to school in the ACC for the last four years, I've gotten to watch Dunbar quite a bit. He's a very athletic and hard-hitting linebacker, but he lacks ideal speed. I'd like to see where he fits into the mix. Good pick up in my opinion.

I will say it right now, Jolonn Dunbar was the missing piece. Dunbar=Championship.

Re: Saints sign Jolonn Dunbar (MLB, Boston College)
Obviously I'm joking. I don't know who the heck this guy is. Is he related to Vaughn?

The second coming of sam mills...
New Orleans Saints - JoLonn Dunbar
He looks alot like sam and his numbers reveal a shorter and compact LB...hope he has mills' speed...i am really looking forward to the '08 training camp...good luck kid! |
Re: The second coming of sam mills...
My question is I've seen this kid play a few time and he was a heck of a player at BC, but why did he not get drafted? Is he hurt or has he been in trouble with the law or anything like that?

Re: The second coming of sam mills...
I think his problem is he doesn't have the measurables. He ran a 4.79 and is 6-foot and 230. The guy is a playmaker and has good instincts, but has a "limited ceiling".

Re: Saints sign Jolonn Dunbar (MLB, Boston College)
I watched him to. His numbers mean nothing. He appears to be VERY football smart and plays with a lot of heart. does sound like Sam but thats a mouthful and he has to beat out Vilma. tall orders to say the least
