Duece, good news!

Deuce McAllister (knee surgeries) ran full-speed pass routes for the first time this offseason Monday.

There's no word on whether he came up sore after practice. McAllister is coming off microfracture surgery on his right knee and a torn left ACL. He anticipates having limited participation when the Saints convene for OTAs.

That's cold Chad but funny. I really think that playing Duece will only result in another injury. I think he should stop. Question, is a SB ring worth looking like Earl Campbell?

Re: Duece, good news!

That's great news, and I'm really happy to hear that Deuce is coming back again. This team is so much better when he's in the lineup. And seriously, how many Pro Bowl players would say this as his team is out looking for somebody who might replace him:

Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis confirmed Alexander's visit, but he declined further comment. McAllister said he wouldn't be surprised or opposed if the Saints add another tailback before training camp.

"I anticipate they'll continue to look at veteran running backs," McAllister said. "They have to have some protection just in case there are any setbacks with my rehab, even though there haven't been any. It never hurts to have a Plan B."

Someone needs to inform deuce that Plan A is for Deuce to be Plan B.

I think I can safely answer for Deuce when I say "Yes, they were sore afterwards".
