Speaking of endless ordeals, there is still talk of the Giants trading tight end Jeremy Shockey to the New Orleans Saints. even they think its ridiculous |

Shockey trade: just couldn't come to conclusion on Shockey deal; For the most part that's dead, I don't see that being rekindled;

The GIANTS originally wanted a draft pick plus Roman Harper. As far as i have seen on the ESPN and SI web sites all talks are done. Payton has moved on. If Shockey becomes an issue with the GIANTS later on we will probably get him by the 3rd game of regular season. If that happens Shockey will be a great fit on Paytons offense, afterall Payton was there on his draft day and they each have a huge ammount of respect for each other. !!!!!!!FAITH!!!!!!!! Our dynasty is close i can feel it. The days of being called losers will end soon.

I hope five (5) years from now the Shockey Thread is still going, really I do...
I don't know why, I just think it would make the Saints Black and Gold Blog the best in the NFL if we're still talking 'bout Shockey... My friend in Boston keeps our other Yankee friends of ours abreast of the thread and they think we (the Black and Gold Clan) are the balls over it; this coming from fans who have multiple 24 hour Sports Talk Radio Stations! im still holding out for shockey.. i dont think we have heard the last of this deal going down... all we need is a little push from shockey during mini camps and we could see the trade discussion pick back up again...
