Eric Johnson has minor setback.......

Saints coach Sean Payton said TE Eric Johnson had a minor setback when he had a scope performed on his ankle during the offseason.

The team remains interested in upgrading the position. As suspected, Payton would still like to acquire Jeremy Shockey. According to the Biloxi Sun Herald: "The deal might not happen in time for minicamp, but don't be shocked if it goes down before or during training camp."

Shockey trade: just couldn't come to conclusion on Shockey deal; For the most part that's dead, I don't see that being rekindled;

Hey, Naildriver I'd love for Eric Johnson to become someone else's No. 2 Tight End. Doesn't this remind you of another tight end we had that never could stay on the field ? At least the FO has been trying to address this. Maybe the football GODS will be on our with a trade or someone can come out of nowhere. I thin B Miller is better than EJ anyway we need another option.
