It's great to be back on the best Saints forum around. But why I am fed up is that no matter what we do, people will always seem to find reasons why they lost to us. 'It was only the Lions' or 'D. McNabb wasn't playing'. You know, we could win 15 of our games and if we lost the last one people would say 'I told you, the Saints are not good against..blah, blah bloody blah.' If we got our butts kicked by someone, I would not be making excuses about why we lost if we were outplayed. Yes the Eagles had a missed call when Reggie Bush received a pss from Brees as it was at least a hold. Most definitely. But guess what folks, welcome to our world. It happens sometimes. And about Mcnabb not playing; last I heard, he doesn't play on defense so maybe our offense was just too good after all. Sorry if people have already posted similar stuff but I just had to release it as I haven't been on here for a while. Good to be back people.

Hey look the Eagles fans can say anything they want to if McNabb was in the game and he was good for say 14 points they still would've lost. Pee on the Eagles and the Lions suck anyway. When we beat the Bills and then the Jets there will be no excuses.

... don't take it so hard... speaking of the non-calls, you just count how many times Reggie gets horse-collared and his facemask grabbed during a game and no one calls for a penalty.. there was one run in that game where Reggie got like 1 yard, and he got both horse-collared and facemasked at the same time, no call... heck even Reggie has been penalized for a facemask stiff-arming a LB.

... but that's how fans are.. last Monday I was listening to Czaban, and a Pittsburgh fan called complaining about a call that allegedly had cost the Steelers the game against Chicago, and I thought, for a team that won 2 Superbowls on very questionable officiating... betcha he wasn't complaining about those calls..

We have seen some horrible calls go against the Saints, and I mean horrible. About time we get some our way.

the thing that gets on my nerves is when the excuses have no effect on the overall outcome of the game....

so what if mcnabb didnt play, jeff garcia lead them to the playoffs a few years back didnt he? kevin kolb had nearly 400 yards passing and actually played a very good game.....the only thing that may have been cut down was the INTs

we scored 48 points on a team that is known for keeping the score down....mcnabb wouldnt have had any better luck against us and he certainly wouldnt single handidly have put up 27 more points

The media has a big fat stiffy for the New York teams, who happen to both be 2-0 right now, so no other teams, will get much credit. So we're in the same boat as the Niners and the Falcons right now (though no love lost for those two clubs esp. Niners).

I don't know about all that. I believe Brees is getting plenty of notoriety...I don't know how much more you could want.

Well,,, all you have to do is beat Drew Brees and you can beat the Saints, right? Our defense or running game get no respect, and fans think if we beat them, it's a fluke. We'll see how good our defense is against the Bills. They have a pretty good offense.
