8/23/2003 - Jets starting quarterback Chad Pennington fractured and dislocated his wrist early in the third quarter in Saturday's pre-season matchup against the Giants. After x-rays at the stadium, he was immediately sent to the hospital for surgery. Jets officials say he'll be out for 6-8 weeks. Vinny Testaverde steps into the starting role.
