That's a good thing because last time we went 5-0 with that older Dallas QB (Dave something), HBO did a special on whether we were really that good and we lost like the next 6 games...that isn't this year's team thankfully

Freaking Wade Wilson, 1993. I remember later in that season when he got knocked out of a game, he got a freaking standing ovation while he was still on the ground. Yes, Saints fans are pretty brutal folks at times... LOL. I think that may have been a Monday Night game against the Giants, that loss put them at 7-7. They finished 8-8, pretty horrible collapse!

Same thing happened to DAVE Wilson just before Hebert took over. To date, he's the only Saint I've
ever booed. People say crap about Hebert, but seriously, we were elated
when he stepped on the field.

That drive home sucked bad enough. Took me 1:45 to get from the Dome to I-55.

Awesome game though! I was surrounded by the few Jets fans that were there, but they seemed OK. Other than the Jets TD, they were very quiet.

I totally remember that happening. I was in College at LSU, sitting on my girlfriend's couch watching it start against the Pittsburgh Steelers. I thought we were going to have a cake walk... well we got our butts kicked.

We still had high hopes through November, but we didn't win a game in December and missed the playoffs. I remember turning to my brother and saying "wow, I can't believe we didn't win one stinking game in December this year."

These memories are vivid in my mind because LSU was going through the Curley Hallman era and there was no hope of winning there at that time, so the Saints were the only winning franchise we knew at that time.
