Did not know that a brused lower heel is a six month injury I will have to take Smashmouth's word for that one. As Mathew has stated we are going to have to face and contain Jacobs this is going to say a lot about how this game goes. These two teams are a lot alike. Our advantage is we are at home and our secondary is going to put up a better fight against Eli. It still bothers me that we are playing so many non-divisional games and AFC oponents. The pressure is really going to be on us late to win the division and we are going to have to deal with Atlanta.

Jacobs is a worry.

Our tackling was pretty poor at times against BUF and NYJ, and Jacobs is a load.

The only counters to an unstoppable running game is to score quick
and often with the passing game, and to shut down their passing game
on 3rd down.

If we can contain Jacobs... allow 80-90 yards but little scoring,
score ourselves, he won't hurt us that bad.

How in the world does a 270 pound man run a freaking 4.5/40? I also believe it's not exactly the best idea in the world to stack 10 in the box against Eli. Just asking for trouble...
Washington contained Jacobs to 46 yards.
Dallas contained him to 58 yards.
He couldn't break 100 against the Bucs.
He couldn't break 100 against KC.

What's the big deal?

If that's the case, I rather have PT any day. This should be an easy win.

You've just ruined a good thing.

We have been shutting down running games all year. I think Jacobs will hit a big one here and there but I dont expect him to get a 100 on us.
