Re: Are the saints complete?
I think we have a defensive coordinator. So whoever we add to the mix is worth it.
The way things ran before, didn't matter who we brought in, I don't think they were being coached well. |

I'd like to have a Jerome Bettis clone hanging around.
Does Earl Campbell have any kids playing? |

I have a hard time believing that any team is "complete". I am encouraged by the Saints 4-0 start but I think that almost every position could be upgraded. For the first time in my life, though, I can say that the Saints appear to have a good- possibly great- secondary. The d-line seems good but a big fat (talented) DT would help. The team seems to get better on defense each game and that is exciting. I haven't seen a good defense on the Saints for a long time and that's been hard since the defense was a big reason for me choosing the Saints as my favorite team in the first place. |

I know most might think I'm crazy. But I like to have Mr Brown back at Left Tackle. Other wise no problems here.

Re: Are the saints complete?
Overall the Saints have a very decent team. There isn't any glaring weakness right now. There are some issues on special teams that needs to be cleaned up, but nothing too major. As good as the defense has looked, I am still concerned about teams being able to drive. So far the Saints have been good at getting turnovers which obviously kills those drives. The Saints have been very fortunate so far that they have not seen a top notch QB yet this season, or simply a QB that manages the game well and doesn't commit the mistakes. The offense seems to be fine but I do think the LT position is a major concern. I also have not been impressed with the passing game the past couple weeks. I really hope opponents have not figured out how to defend against the Saints.
