God I love this site and the people who make it sparkle. The humor makes my day and the opinions are as insightful and thought out as anywhere I have ever seen. Since I joined I do not go to any other Saints site unless someone here recommends it to get me fired up. I believe we give other fans their due and set a great example for sites that take it a personal level and somehow think they are playing the game and calling the shots.

Hi, Cargojon. I remember you, and if memory serves you were one of the decent guys over at NerdsR-us. You're about to learn that those idiots dont represent Saints fans, contrary to their delusions. You'll notice that our posting is a bit less extensive, as most of us have jobs, friends, and lives. Most of us are over 14, so no one's gonna tell you you "fail at internet," or any of that homo-speak.

Nobody here cares who you vote for or about your religious views, but the upside is nobody's gonna shove their beliefs down your throat, or insult yours. I always wondered if those tactics were supposed to make you go, "Wow, you so ARE right. I am so ignorant, I MUST immediately adopt your beliefs." There is a political forum. I read/I vote, but I have zero interest in discussing politics, especially here.

I think we have a nekkid forum too somewhere here, but I dont want to see whats in these guys porn collections. Foreverfan has scared me enough.

We pretty much talk football, chicks, crawfish, Gulf Coast life, personal stupidity, and conduct various gay polls. We had a crash, so we have lost
my infamous "who likes to pee outside?" poll, and other nonsense. We did a tailgate at Houston in August, and I'm trying to link all the folks who drive I-10 to the Dome together, so we can help each other out on the road. I've met a number of these guys already, and everybody's cool.

Sorry if you miss the "intellectual discourse" from Site-X. Personally, this place has been a breath of fresh air.

When we disagree with a post here, we dispute it in a civilized manner,
and don't attack the poster. There are a bunch of stink bugs over there
that do nothing but attack other posters. They know just how far to
push without being called down by the mods.

I think what I like best about this site is the fact that there are not hundreds of posts to a thread. Most threads die after 15 posts. Not much gets beaten to death. There are about 50 regulars on this site that been here for years. Everybody knows each other.

Join the party and have some fun, but don't expect your threads to have 300 replies. It ain't gonna happen.

Some of my best friends are right-wingy--- Some of my best friends are left---wingy. Some of them prefer Fox. Some prefer NPR. None of them are stupid or evil.

Its not as much any partisan slant that makes The Bathhouse nasty. Its their inability to share their ideas without turning into Linda Blair and having head -spinning- vomiting- pea -soup fits. They fear ideas.

If you are not a partisan Republican who thinks Faux News is the gospel and all others are evil, you will not be united over there. LOL. Different opinons are wonderful. I learn something everyday in my interactions will a wide variety of people. But, it doesn't happen there for 80 percent of the posters. It's their way, period, not even worth discussing, and anyone who questions their ideals are Un-American, non-supporters of the troops who should move elsewhere. LOL. Just my opinion.

You have to admit Fox News isn't really news anymore. News are supposed to be delivered in a matter-of-fact, non-biased manner. Not that other channels don't do the same, but with Fox, just about every news item in any of their newscast is delivered with a not-so-subtle and highly-orchestrated-to-look-like-news partisan slant.

For example, when I go to one of our data centers, the break room has a TV which is turned to Fox News 24/7 (or it seems as every time I go there that's what is on). Last time I was there, I caught the "newscast" reporting on Obama's health care. The bimbo anchor went on stating how this health plan was going to bring the economy down, infect your soul, curve your spine, keep the country from winning the war... she also told us about how the number of Americans without healthcare reported by the Govt. was misleading and to prove it she turned to a "field reporter" who told us how these numbers were misleading because a) they included the Scourge of the 21st Century (illegal aliens), and what issue affecting America today is not caused by them, and b) "millions of Americans" choose not have health care, and to prove this, the reporter interviewed a white young man wearing a white shirt and tie in an office setting, who said "I choose not to get health care because I can't afford it". O....K....

..not exactly how Walter Cronkite would've handled it.

Personally, I get my news from The Daily Show.

On Fox news while I agree with a lot of the sentiment, I don't agree with their delivery sometimes. I do feel that the big 3 tend to whitewash the President's shortcomings.

You have to be intelligent to watch FoxNews. The hard news people on FoxNews are fair and balanced, the Conservative talking heads slant toward the Conservative POV, the Liberal talking heads slant toward the Liberal POV. If you can't sort it out, come to me, and I'll give you the real truth. :D
