I'm a conservative, and I love Fox news. Its a hell of a lot better than that drivel they spew on CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and CNBC.

Some of you guys sound like a bunch of big government parasites afraid that individualism will expose you for the losers you are.

Government is not the SOLUTION, Government is the PROBLEM.

How in the hell did a discussion of other Saints websites turn into a Fox News thread? and that's why this site is the best around because we have alot of crazy people who take meds to control their moods.

guys in person. So you dont know what good people they really are. You just looked at one fraction of their personality, and conclude that they are this or that. So they believe a few dumb things? My mother believes some dumb things. I love her anyway. SapperSaint had a great
blog post entitled "The Saints Not Politics is Our Common Ground." I hope that post gets restored here. It was that post that made up my mind that B&G was the site for me.

This is not a demand, just a wish. I wish we could leave our politics out of this and just think of each other as fans. To quote myself again:

You weren't paying attention. Conservatives were very disappointed that Republicans were spending like Democrats. Well, until Democrats took spending to a completely new stratosphere in 2009.

Granted, Republicans were funding 2 wars and recovering from 911, but we were very disappointed in excessive social spending. Its what defines conservativism.

Oh, and Democrats held the House and Senate for 2006, 2007, and 2008.

I'm not referring just to social spending. Not only did the Republicans spend money like they were Democrats, they enacted laws that trampled all over our Constitutional rights "for our safety". On a side note, and going back to Fox News, 7 years later, I find it really amusing to see Glenn Beck have a cow over it when the Democrats apply those same acts and laws in practice.

But that is why, as one great man once said, "I don't lean left, I don't lean right, but the opposite" :)

At least FoxNews gives you all the news and both sides of the issues so you can decide for yourself. The major networks spoon feed you just what they want you to know. They have a very low opinion of their own viewers.

I'm not going to foment political disagreement, especially since I am apolitical. I only care about results, and this forum compares very favorably to Fox News. Here, one gets both sides with respect, and no one voice towers over another.
