I'd rather us not trade - it'd be nice for the Saints to have a full set of draft picks to work with next year.

Merriman the juicer?

No thanks!

Dorsey is not exactly burning it up either.

its like my 4-1 fantasy football team. i keep thinking up trades and then deciding against it because i'm in first place. why mess up a good thing?

continuity is very important......but we are lacking depth at offensive line right now......we are lacking depth at TE

adding a player for a draft pick would keep our current team in tact and also add another player who could be worked in slowly to catch up

continuity only gets you so far, talent needs to be a major factor in evaluating how far a team will get into the playoffs

A Dorsey and Johnson in one hand is better than two in a (BUSH)

Re: Possible trade ideas.

Dwayne Bowe would be a nice addition to the WRs since meachem still isnt stepping up and lance moore has been hurt......bowe would give us enough talent and health to drop harper and roby

Give meachem credit. He has played into his role as #3 or #4 reciever and makes plays when the ball is thrown his way. Drew going to him in crunch time on 3rd down on the game clinching drive against the Jets should tell you alot about this guy.

I do think Dwayne Bowe is a heck of a reciever however. I just don't think he'd be worth the price that will likely come with him considering how potent our offense is now.

Overall, if the saints are to trade for anyone, they should seek depth at offensive line. Not just 2nd string linemen, but proven NFL starters so that our line will continue to improve andplay with a fire on their ass.
