Where was the pressure
Where was the pressure on Sunday. You have a rookie making his second start and we cant get pressure on him? He looked like a pro bowler in the first half sitting in the pocket by himself just waiting for the recievers to break free. I dont understand how you let a rookie sit in the pocket and just pick you apart. You have to blitz, blitz and blitz again. Make him beat you dont just let him

Where was the pressure
I can\'t agree more. I know we\'re thin at Corner and LB right now but c\'mon!! We made 3 Vet QB\'s black and blue and hardly touched a rook?? Huh?? What? I give...

Where was the pressure
What happened to the 32 dime defense that confused Farve and Johnson? I dont think I saw that one time. We have made a lot of QB\'s look good before, but never to that degree. Harrington will be a good QB im sure one day. We made him look great yesterday. Fred Thomas just looked helpless out there yesterday with \"THE CLUB\" on his hand. They threw at him in every critical 3rd down situation it seemed. Schroeder is not a very good reciever and we may have just sent him to the pro bowl.

Where was the pressure
It looked to me like a total let down in coaching and players. I think they believed that they were going to win this game by just showing up. In the NFL these days that\'s the easiest way to achieve a loss. This loss might be just what the doctor ordered. Now maybe they\'ll see that you have to be ready to play start to finish every game no matter who they\'re playing.

Where was the pressure
What got me was in the Lions first 3 games they had allowed 10 sacks and had 1 to their credit, in this game they got 3 and allowed none. What\'s happenin?

Where was the pressure
The new quarterback effect .
Football is usually about mismatches , tall tightend on a smaller linebacker , speedy receiver on a slower corner , these mismatches and zone openings is usually how the offense gains ground . The question going into Venturi\'s mind on Sunday had to be what does Harrington bring to the table ? It turned out to be poise , leadership , accuracy and desire . The offense spotted the lions a few points and the defense was playing in unfamiliar territory . Schlesinger did a pretty good job at picking up the blitz , Harrington made good reads and really the Lions are a team to stay in base for because they usually run a load of screens , draws and dump off\'s . Plays used to handle aggressive defenses . If you think about it a once scrambling rookie named Brooks stepped into the lineup and had some success . |

Where was the pressure
I understand what you are saying saintz08, but last week he didnt show poise, leadership or accuracy last week. He threw 4 picks and completed 15 of 34 passes. This week he threw 0 picks and completed 15 of 20 passes in the FIRST HALF. Micheal Ricks isnt a TE threat thier speedy recievers hadnt dont anything this year.

Where was the pressure
Well enough about last week. I am begging to put pressure on Maddox. The guy isnt mobile and hasnt started a game in the NFL for 10 years. I think Grant will have a big game if they let him pin his ears back and just rush. He has shown some pretty good speed on the outside. The run doesnt concern me much. Fu is hurt and I think out Famous Amos is hurting and questionable and Bettis is FAT. Lets take our chances against the run and make Maddox beat you with the pass. Just Rush Baby
